The company La Boîte à sel has begun since 2021 a work of documenting its artistic research and creation process. For each project, films are made by Luka Merlet - sometimes at several stages of the same creation - in order to showcase the behind-the-scenes work, the development of an idea, the power of the collective, the joy, the doubts, the experiments, the first encounters with the audiences and the technology that is so central to our projects: in short, everything that contributes to the making of the shows, these dizzying challenges in which we often engage body and soul for several years.
Designed as accessible forms for all audiences, in various formats ranging from 5 minutes to 1h15, these films can be used as mediation tools to accompany our shows, or can be consulted here by the audiences and the curious.
